Where's a good place to get tint? I read on here somebody suggested Auto Distinctions. Who else?

I can't find the long thread we had on here about tint, but here's a cross reference on my experiences with the shop you mentioned:

And 2 years after the initial job:

Sunglow.  They did the tint in my RX-7 14 years ago and other than fading still looks great.

We used Car Trends on Memorial last summer to tint the Saturn, based on the dealer's referral.  I was a bit torqued I had to dig the window seal back out from inside the door, but the tint itself looks good.

There's my statistical sample of 1.

I think Jeff (the dude that does the clear bra) does window tinting, too but let me check first.

Interesting post about Auto Distinctions, Jason.  JP retinted my driver side window last summer... he did a decent job, but over-sprayed a little bit of someshing onto the car, which washed right off so it was no biggy.  Tint still looks good from what I can tell (no bubbles).

You might give Modified Graphics a try.  I don't have any personal experience with them, but they're a good friend of a good frend and I've heard good things about his work as well as pricing.

Auto Distinctions did the tint on the BMW and four years later it's still going strong.  I was pleased.

i've always used auto distinctions as well.

however, they never could get the window in my nissan right and 10 years later, my integra back window looks terrible and needs to be redone.

I used Car Trends on Memorial because of the dealer recomendation and have been happy for almost a year now, it was by no means the cheapest around and that is my only complaint, $180 for a 2 door hatchback I know I could have saved money by going somewhere else but if the dealer will recomend it they must do decent work...
