Ozark Mountain Region has an autocross this Sunday, May 18, in Ozark, MO, just south of Springfield.
If you want seat time before the St. Louis divisional the following weekend, or have the itch to run before June 1, come on up. Details here:
http://www.omrscca.org/Registration closes at 10AM for the remainder of the season, thirty minutes earlier than before in order to give that much more seat time. Domino's Pizza will be selling slices and soft drinks on site again to minimize the lunch delay between first and second heat. Entry is $20 for SCCA members, $35 for "weekend" members. Bring your driver's license, and if you have one, your SCCA card.
Ducks is sun-baked, broken-in asphalt. Average course times tend to be in the 40-something range with about five runs per person. Gas, free air at car wash, and fast food available down the street. Also, scenic Branson is just 30 minutes South if you need to placate spouse(s) with shopping and Yakov Shmirnov shows. In Ozark Region, car autocrosses you! What a country!
