Maturity Challenged

The weather was good and my old '02 Corvette Z06 with 84,000 miles ran an 11.64 @ 118mph at Thunder Valley.
If I had known the track was going to be so fast, I would have set the car up for the strip instead of its normal street trim.

It has a Lingenfelter head and cam package that added about 40-horsepower. This same car ran 11.95 stock.

11.94 stock.

Jeeez, I had no idea the 6's were that fast.
I rode in one at an autocross once in '02.  The speedo never went below 60.  Then we realized that it was in KPH.  Still, it was a ball-hauler.

The ZO6 is awesome, I've never been in a car with so much torque.

Despite what Vin Diesel says, my dads 440 big block charger (70) might have made a tad more, but it was hard to tell with the back end all coming around. Smiley
