Just thought I would share something really cool that happend.

Well guys this is hands down one of the best trips I have ever been on. One month ago Melissa got a phone call from her Grandma inviting us to go to a Cowboys game. Now the rest of this is unbelievable. So the pics will tell the rest of the story.

So the ride shows up to take us to the game. Its the Jerry Jones luxury Cowboys bus.

So we got all comfy inside the bus. And waited to start heading out.

Pulling up to the stadium. It was awesome, people kept on taking pics of us in the bus. They probably thought we were some one important. lol..just us though.

Here we are with all the Jerry Jones Family. Meeting outside before they take us in for dinner.

Ok so the first suite they took us to was for dinner. The food was amazing. I should have taken pics of it. But I was starving. lol

So after the great dinner we got these.

Now these got us on to this!

Some pics of the players!

So if that isnt enough I look to my left and Emmitt Smith is standing right there. So I snap a few pics. Dude is freaking cool. More on that later.

So after all that, it was time to go upstairs. We got to watch the game from Jerry Jones Suite. It was AMAZING. Now they asked us not to be taking alot of pics because...well...even though we were having fun, he was working. He had to cut 22 guys last night. So he was really wacthing the game.

So here was the vew from our seats. Right at the 50 yard line.

Ok so Emmitt Smith sat right in front of us the whole game. Now when all the big guys came in...I stopped taking pics, so you will just have to imagine it. lol

There were tv's everywhere. The bathroom even had 5.

So then Jerry had a few cheerleaders come up to take some pictures. Meh...they were ok. But the last group was much better looking.

So finally the game was over. This is a shot of the field with noone on it.

So we are ready to leave, walk outside and there is the bus at the gate to take us back.

So then I passed out on the bed in the bus. So Melissa took a pic.

So thats it. If you guys want to see all the pics you can click this link.

Without a doubt! Even I would have watched the game under those circumstances, and I don't care for football.

It def was a great trip.

Oh boy was I smiling the whole time.

Funny thing, 90% of the comments on some other local forums are about me smiling in my sleep. Thats so funny that everyone noticed.

I was cheezin ear to ear...it was probably just stuck on my face.

WOW!  That must have been an incredible trip.  I suspect your face will hurt for a while from all the smiling  Grin.
I always though Emmitt was a class act.  I lived and worked in Irving in the 90's and met him a few times in public.  Very nice guy.
Thanks for  sharing.

What an awesome surprise - I hope you do something nice for your Grandmother in return.  I have a feeling this is one of those stories you'll tell your grandchildren.  Just embellish it a little bit with tales of Jerry asking you to play tailback and scoring the winning touchdown.  My grandpa told me that kind of stuff and I ate it up. Awesome trip.

I bet Tulsa alum Felix Jones got some run time. Hopefully more in the regular season. Two 1,000+ yard seasons at Arkansas with McFadden lined up beside. Probably (even) more Cowboys fans in Arkansas because of that pick. I know they were eying D-Mac, too!
