Well...

Lieb had informed me of the Drag Night... I didn't really feel like taking out the Hawk (there was a nail that went thru the sidewall a while a go, never lost pressure/need a patch, but I'm gonna wait for a new set before I go to the drags)

Anyway.. on my way home from work I just decided to drop on by in the Honda.... I was SOOOO thinkin I had some 15s in her!  Best time was my 1st of 4 runs:

16.168 @ 86.29mph w/ 2.487 60ft  Sad   Halfway down the track I felt like I was watchin paint dry! Sad

Eh, ohwell... 47 lbs 18s/tires certainly dosen't help!

Shoulda stayed for the late night, it was getting wicked cold when I left, but had to go to a cookout.

* Ginger, for the personal track welcome to the GCM group.  That was an awesome surprise!

You are very welcome!  I didn't check the forum before I left for the day, so I didn't have any particulars but did want to make sure you guys knew you were welcome.   Cool

Pat... it was great meeting you and chatting with you in the tower.  I hope you all had a great time (except for the clutch mishap) and that you'll be out again soon.  And just so you guys know...there was not one mention of any ricer action from anyone the entire night.  So THERE.  Wink

Wow, I always thought the Accord v6's were quicker (or at least they feel quicker) than that.  I still and will always love that V6 with a 6-speed tranny (found only in the coupes);  they are supposed to be capable of mid 14's with a 6-speed.
