The Diet Coke of Evel.......

« Reply #45 on: October 11, 2009, 10:21:41 PM »

MAN! What a Great Time we had! Even in the C-C-C-Cold, it was one of the most-fun events I've been to all year!

Todd, et. al. - I want to Thank You for going-ahead and gettin' us in, even though you'd closed Reg. before we got there. Sorry 'bout dat - we'll not let it happen again. No excuses, it just took us longer to get there than I allowed-for.

I may have won ESP - but I think it might have been a different story if the original forecast had been correct & the sun had come out. The poor guys on R-comps were at a serious disadvantage today - I was watching Billy, and he had to just about creep around the cones like he was on eggshells. Couldn't hook-up.

I. Am. Ex. Haus. Ted.

I know how you feel.  I got up at 5:30 Sunday, then RIGHT after the event I had to head to work.  I was then at my store until 4am moving it back into it's old, but newly remodeled location.  I didn't get in bed until 5am.....a 23.5 hour day for me.  UGH!

Sorry I couldn't stay for the results, I had to hit the road fast to make it to work on time, and I was still a bit late.  Dan did a great job driving his 2.5RS on Jared's tires and I struggled adjusting to Kyle's Focus so I only had one clean run in ST, and I got my ass kicked.   Once I finally got used to the qwirks of his car, it did feel great to get a 55.025 on my last run of the day and end up with a 5th in PAX.

Fun event as always.  I hope to have Sonic repaired in time for the school/autocross but I'm not sure if it will happen in time.

I have sorted through the photos from Second heat and will have them posted tonight.  I had a guest shooter with my camera in first heat and I forgot to change the setting to Auto and all of the pictures are over exposed.

Oh man, I hate it when that happens.  Our cameras are capable of so much, but it's easy to forget one little setting.  I had my camera mounted and shooting video Sunday, but forgot to return it to the HD setting, so all I got instead was 800x600VGA.  Smaller files yes, but not the quality I wanted.

Are the results up somewhere from this event? It's no biggie, I was just wondering if I'd missed them.

Not that I know of, but as soon as I get the results (or a link if someone else uploads them) I will add a link to them on neoklascca.org.    Smiley
