I have a 1972 Datsun 510 for sale. This car has been sand blasted and powered coated inside and out. Also a roll cage, has been wielded in. It also is SCCA legal. The 510 is a roller. I had the pleasure of Driving one of Jerry Cox's 510's He past away in June this year and the Family had given me the 510 and all the spares. I do not have time to put it together and for this reason I’m selling it and returning the money to his wife. The 510 has the VIN plates  and it could very easily be converted back to the street. A lot of spare that are used but there is quite abit of new parts from the manufacture. I do have a clean title for the car.
Im asking 6500$

Parts List:
1 aluminum radiator
1 stall race header
1 custom race header
2 5speed transmissions
1 4speed transmission
3 rear diffs
Larger box of exterior trim pieces
Large box of emblems & light buckets
Large box bluebird & also all gauges for the race car
A large box of msds and coils
Box of several distributors, points
Box of tail light lens’s
Box of tail light housings
Large box of new piston’s and main bearings
Box of powdered alternator’s and pulleys
Several front grill’s for the car
Large box of assorted gaskets and jet kits
Large box of window and doors seals
Several 510 dash pads
Dash bucket with vin#
1 new 510 bumper
Powdered coated brake calipers and lots of brake pads
1 complete SCCA legal 510 engine
1 complete Z22 bottom end
2 510 heads
Lots of boxed assorted nuts, bolts, miscellaneous parts
2 light weight race fly wheels
Lots of trim pieces for the car.
6 panasport race only wheels, 4 have  race tires on them
2 wiring harness’s
Front &rear sway bars

As you can see you have enough spares to last you a long time. There is not much you’ll have to purchase for this 510. I also have all the glass for the car and seal’s to install in the 510. This can be an awesome street car or a autocross car or SCCA. I may not have listed all the parts because there is so much stuff that Jerry collected over the years. I can email more pictures on request.

Jeff Vogal knows of Jerry Cox so he can vouch for Jerry's 510's

I lusted after several of his 510s when I was younger. My first car was a four door automatic tranny 510 when I was in highschool back in the eighties. Almost bought a cherry 510 coupe from my neighbor back in 86 but decided to get a GT6 instead.

Too bad I dint have the space or money for this. It would be one sweet project.

I'm bumping this one back to the top.  Looks like a great project.  If it weren't for that little money thing, this would be in my garage & I'd be calling everyone I knew for help!

haha, pass on that.

My girlfriend has had her fair share of kidney stones AND Gull stones. Even took out the Gull Bladder.....Although I can trade you a gull bladder for something. Smiley

I truely love Datsun 510's and always wanted one. But like I said, the only thing holding me back is time/energy and money for such a project(that and a paved area to work on it....or a shop like Bobby's lol). If it had the engine and tranny already in it I might have posted a buy.

Don't worry though...somebody will buy this. Who doesn't like 510s??

Guys, dont really need any body parts right now...LOL
Tell you friends about this car, really would like to get it out of my garage soon. Jerry's son is lurking on here time to time. If it doesnt sell  soon I'm sure the price is negotiable.
Thanx for looking

is this vehicle still available? If so - do we have pics handy of the engine/trans? And, (probably not) lastly, is all wiring available to make the lites work and street legal?
