Can't get the PM feature to work.

Is there a way to increase the recent post field at the bottom?
I found that once you look at one thread, it resets the counter for the "show unread posts since last visit" at the top left? I like the recent post bit at the bottom, but my request would be either condense it to show recent threads, or increase the number of entries.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  Can that be changed, or is that a "feature" of the new site?

If you select "View All  Unread" it will show you everything you have missed. It keeps track of each thread separately for each user.

Any idea why this wouldn't work on mine?  It did work up until recently now it says there's no new but if I browse each folder I can see there are new posts

Same here - just started it probably yesterday for me - maybe day before.

We pruned about 1000 users who were just spam generators and added some new form filters on the site to prevent bots (hopefully). It's a constant arms race between the spammers and the tools to prevent them, so hopefully we've caught up for a while.

If your account was deleted on accident, please sign up again - sorry for the inconvenience but the automated tools were used since there were a good 1,000 bogus accounts.
